SUMMER 2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!

OVERVIEW
The Student Endowment Internship Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students with a financial need who are completing an internship during the 2024-25 Academic Year. Students can only be awarded one time per academic year

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered: 
  • Secure an internship for the semester this scholarship is awarded,
  • Be currently enrolled at TAMU-CC for at least part-time credit hours for the semester the scholarship is awarded (6 credit hours for undergraduate, 3 credit hours for graduate),
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students & 3.0 for graduate students,
  • Completed at least two semesters at TAMU-CC, and
  • Not previously have been awarded this scholarship within the 2024-25 Academic Year.

APPLICATION PROCESS
The online application will open for Summer 2025 on March 27, 2025, and will be closed on May 2, 2025 OR when 23 students have been awarded, whichever comes first. Apply by the priority deadline on April 25, 2025, to ensure the funds is in your SAIL account before the 1st day of your summer session. Applicants must be in good academic, behavioral and financial standing with the university. For a complete application, students must be prepared to upload the following documents during the time of submission. Incomplete applications will not be considered.  
  • 1. Formally Signed Offer Letter on a company's letterhead provided by the internship site for the Summer 2025 semester,
  • 2. Formally Signed Letter of Recommendation, and
  • 3. An essay between 200-500 words describing how this opportunity will benefit you and support your educational goals. AI-generated essay will not be accepted.

Note: For students enrolling in practicum programs, a copy of your class enrollment is acceptable in the absence of a signed offer letter from your training site.

AWARDS

If selected, students will be notified of their award within two weeks of the Career and Professional Development Center receiving a completed application. Eligible students will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis with a one-time payment of $1,000 per academic year. Recipients will be notified of their award via email and funds will be applied to their SAIL account according to the disbursement dates from Financial Aid office.

Apply by April 25, 2025 to ensure the fund in your SAIL account before the 1st day of your Summer session.
